My Home

What is My Home?

Players can have their very own Home in Adventure Academy! They can customize and decorate its interior and exterior with various types of furniture they have purchased or earned. This feature is available to players who have reached Level 6 and accessed the Neighborhood area, which is where their Home is located.

Where is My Home?

A player's Home is located in the Neighborhood. Specifically, it’s just past the Bank.

How do I customize My Home?

To customize your Home, please see the steps below:

1. Navigate to your Home.
2. Select the Customize icon.
   
   
   • If you want to decorate the outside, you’ll need to select the Customize icon while your Avatar is in the yard area.
   • If you want to decorate the inside, you’ll need to select the Customize icon while your Avatar is inside your house.
3. By default, the All category will be selected for you to see all the furniture available to add to your house.
   • You can select a different category tab which will only show furniture that fits in that particular category.
     
4. To add a furniture item, select the respective item from the bottom menu and drag it to the house to place it.
   • A set of grid tiles will appear for you to place the object.
   • Each object will take up a certain amount of space. In order to place it, there must be enough space for it to fit per the grid tiles available.
   • To rotate what direction a placed item is in, click/tap the respective item.
5. To remove a furniture item, select the respective item and drag it to the bottom menu.
   • The removed item will then be placed back into your Inventory.
6. Select the Customize icon once you've finished making your changes.
7. You’ll then be prompted to confirm if you’d like to save the changes made to your house.
8. Select Save.

Are items I place in My Home still in my inventory?

No. When a player places an item in their house, it removes it from their Inventory.

Can I control who can visit My Home?

Yes. Players can control who can visit their house in the Home Customization screen through the privacy setting options.

To change the privacy setting of the Player Home, please see the steps below:

1. Navigate to your Home.
2. Select the Customize icon.
   
3. Select the Privacy icon in the top right corner.
   • The location of this icon will vary depending on whether you’re customizing the interior or exterior of the Player Home.
     • For the exterior, it’s in the top far right corner.
     • For the interior, it’s in the top right corner and to the left of the Wall Visibility icon.
       
4. The icon will then have a drop-down menu depicting three different options for you to select.
    
   • • Everyone
       
     • Friend Only
       
     • Private
       
5. Select the option you would like for your Player Home.
6. Click the Customize icon.
7. You’ll then be prompted to confirm if you’d like to save the changes made to your house.
8. Select Save.

Friends’ Homes

What are Friends’ Homes?

Friends’ Homes are other players houses. They are located right next to where players can access their own Home in the Neighborhood.

How do I visit Friends’ Homes?

To visit a Friends’ Home, please see the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Neighborhood.
2. Go to the Friends’ Home gate.
3. A Neighborhood Friends menu will appear.
   • Only players who are in your Friends List and do not have their Home set to Private will appear here.
4. Select Visit next to the Friend whose house you'd like to see.
5. You can then see how your Friend has decorated their Home.
