What is RAM and how can I check my device’s RAM to see if my device is compatible?

RAM is random-access memory; your device’s RAM is short term memory. RAM stores data when the device is on. 

To check how much RAM your PC has, please see the steps below: 

1. Open Settings.
2. Select System.
3. Select About.
4. Search for the Device Specifications.
5. You’ll then need to look for Installed RAM.

To check how much RAM your Mac has, please see the steps below:

1. Click the Apple icon.
2. Select About This Mac.
   
3. You’ll be directed to your computer’s Overview.
   
4. Select Storage.
   

Please note that the minimum RAM Adventure Academy requires for desktops/laptops is 8 GB. Android tablets/phones is 3 GB, and Apple tablets/phones is 2 GB.
