In Adventure Academy, each player has both an Avatar Name and a Unique ID, but they serve different purposes. This article explains the difference between the two, including how the Avatar Name is used for in-game interactions and how the Unique ID helps with account identification. Understanding these distinctions is important for customizing your experience and resolving support inquiries. Read on to learn where to find both and how they are used in the game.
An Avatar Name is the name chosen for a child’s Avatar. It's also the name that is used as they navigate Adventure Academy.
A Unique ID is the Avatar's Name that is assigned a specific set of numbers and letters at the end.
An example of how this would appear is the following:
- AvatarName0000A
What is the purpose of a Unique ID?
Unique IDs are provided because Avatars can have the same Avatar Name. The Unique ID serves as a way to distinguish players apart from one another if they have the same Avatar Name.
Unique IDs can also be used by players to search for their friends in-game and add them as Friends in their Friends List.
Where can I view my Unique ID?
Players can see their Unique ID at the following:
- On the Select Character screen with their Avatar selected.
- The Unique ID is below their Avatar Name.
- On their My Profile menu in-game.
- This menu is accessed by selecting the Avatar icon in the top left corner of the screen.
