Customizing your Avatar in Adventure Academy allows you to create a unique character that represents you in the game. Customizing Clothes and Accessories
How do I get more clothes and accessories for my Avatar?
You can get more clothing and accessories by either completing Quests, crafting them from Recipes, or buying them from the following stores located throughout Adventure Academy in the Academy, Marketplace, Pier, and Clubhouse:

How do I change what clothes and accessories my Avatar wears?
You can change what your Avatar is wearing by going to your Inventory space.
There are two ways to access your Inventory space:
- Click or tap the Backpack icon.
- Click or tap your Avatar icon and select Change Clothes on your My Profile menu.
After accessing the Inventory page, you can see your clothing and accessories in the Clothing tab and Accessories tab (the first two tabs).
These sections also have subcategories you can look in if a you have a certain clothing or accessory item you want to equip your Avatar with.
Once on the Clothing and/or Accessory tab, you’ll want to do the following:
- Locate the item you want to equip your Avatar with.
- Click or tap the item.
- Click or tap the Equip button.
On the left side of the screen, you will now see your Avatar wearing the equipped item. The Equip button for the item will change to Unequip and there will also be a checkmark on an item to indicate that it is currently equipped.
Mobile device users can also drag and drop and item onto their Avatar to equip it.
To unequip an item, the process is essentially the same as equipping one. The only difference is that a player would select the Unequip button.
Customizing Physical Features
Can I change my Avatar’s features, such as hairstyle, hair color, and eye color?
Yes! You can visit the store Trim and Proper (located in the Marketplace) to adjust the features of your Avatar.
Features that can be changed in Trim and Proper include the following:
- Hairstyle
- Hair color
- Eye color
- Skin color
- Facial features
Please note that some features will need to be purchased with Coins.
If I don’t see a feature that I want for my Avatar, what should I do?
Like most other shops in Adventure Academy, Trim and Proper has a rotating inventory that refreshes after a certain period of time. So if you don’t see a feature that you want for your Avatar, check the shop frequently and the feature you’re looking for should eventually become available.
Can I buy multiple features at once, and switch between them?
No. Unlike other things you can buy from other shops, you cannot buy multiple Avatar features at a time and keep them in your Inventory. You can only buy one specific feature at a time, which will immediately be applied to your Avatar.
For example, you cannot buy ten different hairstyles and swap between them at any time from outside Trim and Proper. If you tried to do this, each hairstyle purchased would replace the previous one, since features are not stored in your Inventory and are applied immediately to your Avatar when you buy them.
