Chat settings in Adventure Academy allow parents to control how their child interacts with other players. This guide provides steps to access and adjust chat permissions through the Parent Section, including enabling or disabling chat and understanding available communication options. Additional troubleshooting tips are included for cases where chat settings appear restricted or unavailable.
- Navigate to the Select Character screen.
- Click/tap the Menu icon, which looks like a blue ribbon with three white lines.
- Select Parents Section from the menu and Enter your account password.
- Select Child Settings.
- On the left side of the page, select the icon for the child you’d like to update.
- Click/tap the Chat Settings tab located to the right of Avatar Settings.
- Select the type of Chat you want your child’s Avatar set to, and then click the Save button:
- Standard Chat: Your child can type in Chat, with automatic chat filters in place.
- Limited Chat: Your child must choose from pre-selected messaging.
- No Chat: Chat is disabled in the game.
When the Save button becomes grays out and becomes inactive, your new Chat Setting has been saved. Click the X button to return to the Character Select screen.
When your child next accesses their Avatar, your new Chat Settings will control all chatting behavior.
