Fishing and Harvesting on and around the Pier
The Pier is an exciting location within Adventure Academy, not just for what’s on the Pier, but for the marine animals you can see and catch from the Pier.
You can go fishing at a number of spots around the Pier and along the beach. Just remember to bring your fishing rod, which are for sale at Reel Time on the Pier, if you didn't bring one from Amelie’s Armoire or the Grand Market. If you did previously purchase a fishing rod, you will find it in your backpack in the Accessories category and Hand subcategory.
Click on that tile and then on the blue Equip button to give your Avatar the fishing rod.
Head to the end of the Pier and walk all around the outside of the Aquarium, looking out at the water. It’s fun to see what you can spot there, even if you aren’t fishing. Sometimes you’ll need to be patient and look down into the water until you see the shadows of some fish, but sometimes you’ll see lots of activity right away. This view is from the left side of the Aquarium, looking out towards the jetty, where you can see a sea lion on the rocks and dolphins jumping out of the water in front and behind the jetty.
There are two types of fishing spots to choose from: Deep Sea Fishing from the end of the pier and the jetty and Shallow Water fishing from the beach.
