How to tell if you might have Google Play (Third Party) Billing
If you aren’t able to update your payment information on your Adventure Academy Parent Section > My Account page, you may be billed through Google Play, one of Adventure Academy's third party billing partners.
You can confirm this on the Adventure Academy Parent Section > My Account > Billing page. Some third parties may have specific restrictions in place.
Google Play-billed subscribers can update their payment information on Google Play using a computer or an Android device.
Computer
Follow the steps below:
- Go to the Google Play Account.
- Click Edit payment methods.
- It will redirect to the pay.google.com account.
- On the left, click Payment methods.
- Under the payment method that needs editing, click Edit.
- Make the updates and click Update.
The payment method will be updated and can now be selected when buying something on Google Play.
Android
Follow the steps below:
- Open the Google Play app.
- Tap the profile icon located in the top right.
- Tap Payment & subscriptions > Payment methods > More > Payment settings.
- If asked, sign in to Google Pay.
- Under the payment method needing removal, tap Edit.
- Make your changes.
- Tap Update.
